Microsoft's Data Centers Drive Infrastructure Upgrades in Hortolândia and Sumaré
Microsoft's installation of two data centers in Hortolândia and a third in Sumaré has led to significant road improvements. The company funded the duplication and signage on Avenida São Francisco de Assis, along with enhancements to nearby roads to facilitate traffic. Expected completion of the data centers in 2024 is set to bolster Hortolândia's digital infrastructure and attract new businesses.

Microsoft's data centers in Hortolândia and Sumaré have prompted road improvements, including the recent duplication and signage on Avenida São Francisco de Assis. The project supports traffic flow enhancement along with the duplication of Estrada Valêncio Calegari.
In Taquara Branca, recapping and duplication of Estrada Municipal Pedrina Guilherme has been completed. A marginal road was also constructed in Chácaras Recreio Alvorada to ease local traffic. With construction starting in January 2024, the data centers are expected to be operational within the year, positioning Hortolândia as a key digital infrastructure hub in Brazil.
