Mid-Valley Recycle Receives Over $4 Million Grant for AI Technology Enhancement in Central Valley Recycling
Mid-Valley Recycle has secured a state grant exceeding $4 million to enhance recycling technology in California's Central Valley. This funding will enable the acquisition of six AI-powered robots for sorting recyclable materials and a new commercial processing line equipped with real-time efficiency monitoring. In the previous year, the company processed over 130,000 tons of recyclable materials across several counties.

Mid-Valley Recycle has been awarded a state grant of more than $4 million aimed at improving recycling technology in the Central Valley, California. The funds will facilitate the purchase of six AI-powered robots to sort recyclable materials from curbside and drop-off collections.
Additionally, the grant supports the installation of a new commercial processing line featuring real-time data capabilities for monitoring plant efficiency. In 2022, Mid-Valley Recycling processed over 130,000 tons of materials across Fresno, Merced, Madera, Kings, and Tulare Counties.
