Midas Immersion Cooling Expands in Europe with Biodegradable Coolants and Innovative Data Center Solutions
Midas Immersion Cooling, based in Austin, Texas, is expanding its presence in Europe with partnerships for biodegradable coolants from French suppliers and a project at Durham University. The largest immersion tank, capable of 150 kW, has been installed at the university to explore seasonal heat storage alongside immersion cooling.
Midas currently has over 4,000 tanks worldwide, totaling more than 500 MW of cooling capacity. The company reports production of 130 cooling units per week and has recently installed 100 MW of immersion capacity in one month. Midas aims to facilitate digital sovereignty for EU data center operators by providing efficient cooling solutions that significantly reduce power and water consumption.
