Middlesex Township Approves Subdivision for 18-Building Data Center in Cumberland County

Middlesex Township supervisors have approved subdivision plans for an 18-building data center campus, Pennsylvania Digital 1 (PAX-1), to be built on 700 acres off Country Club Road. The project is expected to create 450 jobs and generate approximately $65 million in tax benefits for Cumberland County, the township, and a nearby school district. The approval remains contingent on further land development plan approvals, as well as decisions regarding the power supply and water requirements for the facility.
