Midwest Aerospace Launches Blade Repair Operation with Rotorcraft Repair Partnership
Midwest Aerospace has launched a new blade repair operation, Midwest Blade Tech, in partnership with Rotorcraft Repair and Manufacturing. Scheduled to open in spring 2026 at the Indiana headquarters, the facility will focus on repairing main and tail rotor blades, primarily for Bell and Sikorsky helicopters. This expansion follows Midwest's strategic growth since its founding in 1990, including the acquisition of Cappsco International and the launch of Midwest Aerospace Arizona. The partnership will also utilize Rotorcraft Repair's proprietary erosion-resistant coating, Dragon Skin Xtreme, enhancing blade longevity and reducing downtime.

This initiative positions Midwest Aerospace to provide comprehensive support for Bell helicopter operators.
