Milena Roveda Exits Gauss Fusion After Key Technological Milestone
Milena Roveda has stepped down as CEO of Gauss Fusion following the completion of the conceptual design phase of its technology. This transition comes as Gauss prepares to establish Europe's first commercial-scale fusion power plant by 2040.

Milena Roveda has left her position as chief executive of Gauss Fusion after leading the company through a critical milestone in its technology development. The firm finalized the conceptual design phase late last year and conducted a comprehensive European site-mapping study with the Technical University of Munich, identifying 150 industrial clusters as potential sites for fusion power plants.
The board will now focus on preparations for the next phase, aiming for operational status by 2040. A final site selection is anticipated by the end of 2027, with identified locations across Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Roveda's departure marks a pivotal moment as Gauss seeks to advance its vision for fusion energy in Europe.
