The Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (Mimit) is revising its strategy for attracting foreign investments in data centers. This updated strategy aims to enhance the national ecosystem and promote the development of services tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The initiative is designed to not only attract investments but also to consider the implications for the production system and improve SMEs' access to digital services. These statements were made by Mimit Undersecretary Fausta Bergamotto during a response to a parliamentary inquiry.
