On February 24, 2026, Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, visited CSTARI Kolkata to review academic reforms and infrastructure development. He emphasized the need for responsive curricula that integrate emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Green Hydrogen.

CSTARI exceeded its training target for the year, training 1,211 participants against a target of 1,200. The Minister laid the foundation for a 200-seating auditorium and discussed plans for a new academic block and executive hostel. The visit concluded with discussions on enhancing industry partnerships and curriculum modularization.
