Mint Innovation Partners with HP to Produce Certified Closed-Loop Recycled Copper from E-Waste
Mint Innovation has partnered with HP to achieve the first certified closed-loop recycled copper from electronic waste using proprietary biosorption technology. The copper, sourced from end-of-life printed circuit boards, will be used in HP's products, including the EliteBook X G2 Series laptops. Mint's Sydney facility received third-party certification from TÜV Rheinland, confirming adherence to international standards. The company is also constructing a facility in Longview, Texas, set to begin operations in 2027, and aims to scale its recycling capabilities for electric vehicle batteries.
