Mirova Invests $19M in Cold Solutions Kiambu's Agri-Solar Project in Kenya
Mirova has invested $19 million in Cold Solutions Kiambu to enhance temperature-controlled storage and cold chain logistics in Kenya, supporting sustainable infrastructure in the food and pharmaceutical sectors. The investment will improve operations at existing cold storage warehouses in Tatu City and Mombasa, which have a capacity of 20,000 pallets and utilize solar energy for 30% of their needs. This initiative aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, including Zero Hunger and Climate Action.
