Mobridge City Council Approves Funding for Water Projects and Equipment Purchases

During the Mobridge City Council meeting on February 11, 2026, updates were provided on city projects. Michael Gorder from Moore Engineering reported that funding agencies are currently being awaited for the wastewater project bid process.

The installation of the water transmission line on the highway has been completed. The council approved pay requests for projects related to water storage and treatment, as well as a $34,250 pump repair at the wastewater treatment plant.

They also approved the surplus of a 1991 Chevy Suburban for the Fire Department and authorized the purchase of a snow blower for $149,037.70, reallocating $150,000 from the Assigned Street Equipment balance. Additionally, a quote for replacing doors at the Scherr-Howe Event Center for $5,476 was approved, and March 18th was set for the Equalization Meeting.
