Modern Technology Solutions Inc. will transfer three Responsive Airborne Test Solution aircraft to the University of North Dakota Aerospace. This partnership enhances student engagement in UAV operations and supports the development of the local aerospace workforce.

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI) has finalized an agreement to transfer three Responsive Airborne Test Solution (RATS) aircraft to the University of North Dakota Aerospace (UND). This collaboration aims to provide students with hands-on experience in uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) operations and enhance the educational resources available at UND.
MTSI has been involved in UAV initiatives since 2015 and has contributed to various federal projects, including NASA's UAS in the NAS project. The RATS aircraft will initially serve as ground resources for faculty and students to study their components, with future plans for flight operations. The partnership represents a significant opportunity for workforce development in North Dakota's aerospace sector.
