Modular Secures R$ 232.5 Million Financing from BNDES for Scalable Data Center Development
Brazilian company Modular has secured R$ 232.5 million in financing from BNDES to develop a scalable multi-user data center. This facility will have an initial capacity of 12 MW and cater to hyperscale clients, significantly reducing deployment time compared to traditional data centers. The funding will also support the creation of intellectual property and acquisition of machinery and equipment.

Modular, a Brazilian company specializing in prefabricated data center components, has obtained R$ 232.5 million from BNDES for a scalable multi-user data center project. The new facility will feature an initial capacity of 12 MW, designed for hyperscale clients like Google and Amazon.
The financing will enhance Modular's intellectual property and equipment acquisition. With three manufacturing units in Santana de Parnaíba (SP), Modular has produced over 80 data centers and maintains active projects in six Latin American countries. This funding adds to nearly R$ 400 million previously released to Modular clients, reinforcing BNDES's commitment to the national industry.
