Shri M. R. Prasad, a Scientist from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), conducted a field inspection at the Panchpatmali Bauxite Mines of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) in Koraput, Odisha.

The inspection reviewed key operational areas and assessed environmental management practices to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Various operational zones of the bauxite mines, a major raw material source for NALCO's alumina refinery, were examined during the visit.
