This tender marks the first inclusion of energy storage in generating capacity projects in Moldova. The successful companies include Lumina Noastra, Navitas Energy, Leafwind Energy, Oromaxmontaj, and Summa FIBA Enerji. Implementing these projects is expected to raise the share of renewable energy sources in the national generation mix to 11.4% and decrease greenhouse gas emissions by over 1.4 million tonnes of CO2.
