Montrel Secures Key LNG Contracts in Northern Germany
Montrel has won contracts for LNG infrastructure projects in northern Germany, enhancing gas supply capabilities. This development supports Germany's strategic shift away from Russian gas imports post-Ukrainian invasion, boosting opportunities for Spanish engineering firms in the energy sector.

Montrel has secured contracts for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of LNG truck loading facilities at forthcoming terminals in northern Germany. This infrastructure will facilitate the transportation of gas to industrial consumers and regional networks, marking a pivotal moment for the company's expansion into the European market.
The contracts encompass detailed engineering, equipment supply, automation systems, and technical assistance. Spain's role as a key LNG supplier is underscored by its existing capabilities and investments in regasification. Other Spanish companies, including Sener, are also engaging in similar projects, such as the German LNG terminal in Brunsbüttel, enabling the country to diversify its gas sources.
