North Texas-based Moonshot is opening a 505,000-square-foot headquarters in Lewisville, serving as a manufacturing hub for QAI Moon's 125 modular AI Pods. The $50 million investment aims to improve low-latency computing.

Moonshot, in partnership with QumulusAI and IXP.us, is deploying a national AI compute platform, with initial sites starting in July 2025 at Wichita State University. The initiative seeks to address latency issues in AI workloads by placing computing resources closer to end users.

Moonshot's revenue has increased by over 3,800%, driven by demand from major clients. The company, founded in 2021, evolved from cryptocurrency mining to manufacturing electrical systems for data centers.
