The Morgan County board approved repairs for the Concord Arenzville Bridge, which leads into Arenzville. Highway engineer Matt Coultas reported that although the bridge is structurally safe, the joints are 38 years old and nearing the end of their typical lifespan of 40 years.
The project will not block the bridge but may reduce traffic to one lane for up to a week. Additionally, Regina Estes was appointed to the Morgan County Housing Authority Board. Commissioner Dr. Michael Woods proposed a resolution to allow a 12-month review for any proposed data centers in the county, with plans to present it for action on May 4.
