Morocco and the UAE are advancing a strategic partnership in energy and water, with Taqa Morocco and Nareva Holding announcing joint ventures aimed at nearly 130 billion dirhams in investments by 2030. They will acquire 85% of Energie Electrique de Tahaddart, a 400 MW gas plant, and develop a new facility with 1,000 to 1,400 MW capacity.
The initiative includes renewable energy and desalination projects targeting 900 million cubic meters of output, powered by green energy.
