Mousterian Corporation and Samsung Heavy Industries Form MOU for Floating Data Centers in the U.S.
Mousterian Corporation and Samsung Heavy Industries have entered a strategic partnership to develop floating data centers. This collaboration aims to meet the increasing demand for hyperscale and AI compute capabilities while leveraging maritime engineering expertise.

Mousterian Corporation (M3) and Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) will jointly develop floating data center (FDC) projects globally. M3 will manage development, site origination, and tenant sourcing, while SHI will provide engineering and fabrication for maritime assets.
This cooperation aims to expedite the establishment of FDCs by utilizing stranded power generation capacity. The partnership is expected to enhance delivery timelines significantly compared to traditional methods, potentially transforming the digital infrastructure sector. This initiative may also influence future growth in the global data market and improve the integration of eco-friendly energy solutions.
