MPAM to Launch New Hyper-Converged Datacenter by May 2026
The new datacenter for the Public Ministry of Amazonas (MPAM) is set to enhance digital modernization through advanced hyper-convergence technology, expected to be operational by May 2026. This initiative aims to improve efficiency, security, and service delivery to the community amid increasing data demands.

The MPAM's new datacenter, under contract nº 005/2026, will replace the existing facility with a hyper-converged solution, ensuring improved speed, stability, and security for public services. Provided by CLM Software, the new infrastructure will feature an updated Nutanix platform integrating processing, storage, and networking, along with a GPU-equipped server to enable AI tools for data analysis.
The project addresses existing limitations of the current datacenter, which lacks support and updates since its last acquisition in 2019. With a dedicated backup environment and 24/7 technical support for 60 months, the new system ensures operational continuity even during technical failures or cyber threats. The upgraded infrastructure is also expected to optimize energy consumption and physical space, reinforcing MPAM's commitment to efficient public resource management.
