Mpatamanga Hydro Power Limited has issued a tender for a 15 km solar powered electric fence around Neno Wildlife Ranch in southern Malawi as part of the Mpatamanga Hydropower Storage Project. The project, located on the lower Shire River, aims to deliver 356 MW of generation capacity.

The scope includes site assessments, design of the electric fence, and preparation of technical specifications. Local training and an operational manual will be provided to ensure long-term effectiveness, supporting biodiversity conservation and community involvement.
