MTN to Acquire Remaining 75.3% of IHS Towers; QLE Establishes Nuclear Fuel Hub in Texas

MTN intends to acquire the 75.3% of IHS it does not already own for approximately R35bn-R40bn in cash, using funds from both IHS and MTN, without issuing new shares. This acquisition aims to improve operational efficiency and profitability by owning rather than renting cellphone towers in Africa.

Sibanye-Stillwater's annual report indicates stable platinum-group metal (PGM) reserves while gold resources decline due to significant reductions in Kloof and other shafts. Quantum Leap Energy (QLE) is moving its headquarters to Austin, Texas, to leverage the state's pro-nuclear environment and establish a nuclear fuel hub, including a HALEU enrichment plant with Fermi America.
