MTN to Acquire Remaining 75.3% of IHS Towers; QLE Establishes Nuclear Fuel Hub in Texas
MTN intends to acquire the 75.3% of IHS it does not already own for approximately R35bn-R40bn in cash, using funds from both IHS and MTN, without issuing new shares. This acquisition aims to improve operational efficiency and profitability by owning rather than renting cellphone towers in Africa.
