Muncy Creek Township Raises Concerns Over Data Center Project
Muncy Creek Township officials express skepticism about their involvement in a proposed data center project. The township has not received any official documentation regarding the project, despite claims of shared jurisdiction.

Officials from Muncy Creek Township have reported no formal communication regarding their involvement in the Muncy Data Center project proposed by DANKO Holdings II, LP/Fishlips, LLC. Muncy Township Solicitor Joseph F.
Orso III indicated that part of the project is within Muncy Creek Township, a claim contested by township Supervisor Eric Newcomer. The proposed data center plan includes three buildings and auxiliary structures, with access from John Brady Drive.
The local supervisors adopted an ordinance last year to regulate data center accessory uses, reflecting growing concerns over transparency in the approval process. This situation may impact future development protocols in the area and raise questions about regulatory oversight.
