DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Mundo Pacífico emerged in 2025 as Chile's fastest internet provider, with CEO Enrique Coulembier reporting an increase of about 80,000 customers and a 23% rise in profits. The company, backed by Digital Bridge and set for acquisition by SoftBank Group, plans to invest $100 million in capital expenditures, focusing on corporate and mining sectors.
Recently signed contracts with Minsal and others will enhance connectivity. Coulembier emphasized the potential of northern Chile for data centers due to its cheap energy. The firm seeks to leverage its infrastructure to improve services for large corporations.
