Namibia Receives 148 Green Energy Proposals Valued at N$16.5 Billion Under NGH2P
The Namibian government has received 148 project proposals for green industrialisation under the Namibia Green Hydrogen Programme, representing potential investments of approximately US$1 billion (N$16.5 billion). The proposals, discussed in a workshop in Windhoek, cover various sectors including clean energy, industrial development, and climate-smart agriculture. The initiative aims to mobilise over US$1 billion in total investment, supported by concessional climate finance of up to US$250 million, to enhance Namibia's low-carbon industrial development.
