Nanolope has completed an €800k pre-Seed financing round, backed by IBB Ventures and various industry experts. The startup focuses on high-density thermal energy storage solutions for residential and commercial buildings, aiming to retrofit existing structures economically.
Founded in 2025, it has developed patent-protected technology that utilizes renewable, plant-based materials from the EU, emphasizing green chemistry principles. The company's thermal storage panels are designed to lower heating and cooling demands, reduce CO₂ emissions, and provide stable indoor climates. This funding will facilitate production scaling and pilot project implementation, positioning Nanolope to meet rising energy-efficiency requirements in the building sector.
