NASA Opens Media Accreditation for Crew-12 Mission with SpaceX
NASA has opened media accreditation for the Crew-12 mission, launching on February 15, 2026, from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission will use a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon capsule to transport astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS).
The Crew-12 crew includes NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. This will be Meir and Fedyaev's second flight, while Hathaway and Adenot will be making their first trip to the ISS.
The Crew-11 mission successfully undocked from the ISS on January 13, 2026, after a six-month stay, contributing to over 200 experiments. The Falcon 9 booster B1079 used in Crew-11 has flown 12 times. Splashdown for Crew-11 is anticipated off the Florida coast on January 14, 2026.
