National Gas has inaugurated its new East Region headquarters in Hampton, backed by an £870 million investment aimed at enhancing infrastructure across several counties in the East of England. The initiative is set to create approximately 250 new jobs and safeguard 300 existing roles, while also upgrading the Peterborough compressor station to support methane and hydrogen blends. This investment will foster local partnerships, provide apprenticeships, and reinforce confidence in the region's infrastructure capabilities.

National Gas has opened its East Region headquarters in Hampton, serving as the operational hub for its activities across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Kent, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Northamptonshire, and Suffolk. This initiative is part of an £870 million investment in the East of England over the next five years, aimed at upgrading infrastructure and fostering local partnerships.
