Navajo County Approves 650 MW Solar-Battery Project Near Snowflake

ENERGY STORAGESOLAR ENERGY

The Navajo County Board of Supervisors approved a development agreement on Jan. 13 for a solar and battery project 10 miles north of Snowflake. The agreement with SE Cygnus, LLC, allows for a photovoltaic solar facility with a capacity of up to 650 megawatts and a 400-megawatt battery storage system on 3,700 acres.
