Yakubu Dogara, chairman of the National Credit Guarantee Company (NCGC), announced plans to collaborate with Taraba and federal governments to establish a research institute focused on livestock production on the Mambila plateau. He emphasized the area's favorable weather and potential for agriculture and tourism.

At the '2025 Round Table With the Christian Clergy and Women of Taraba Central,' he also proposed a National Tropical Research Institute to enhance agricultural productivity and revenue. Dogara highlighted his commitment to fostering partnerships to develop the region, including the completion of the Mambilla hydro power project.

He commended the Hon Babangida SM Nguroje Foundation for its inclusive efforts in supporting the community. Nguroje expressed gratitude for the event's success, acknowledging traditional institutions in the region.
