Nebius to Build 310 MW AI Factory in Lappeenranta, Finland
Nebius plans to construct a 310 MW AI factory in Lappeenranta, Finland, with the first capacity available by 2027. This facility will be among the largest dedicated AI factories in Europe and supports Nebius's goal of over 3 GW of contracted power by the end of 2026.

Nebius will establish a 310 MW AI factory in Lappeenranta, Finland, projected to begin operations in 2027. This initiative follows the recent expansion of its Mäntsälä data center to 75 MW. The Lappeenranta site will span approximately 100 acres, creating up to 700 construction jobs and around 100 permanent positions post-operation.
Nebius has already secured over 750 MW of power across Europe, including a 240 MW facility near Lille, France, and a gigawatt-scale factory in Missouri. Sustainability measures include a closed-loop cooling system and potential integration with local heating. As demand for AI computing rises, Nebius's investments will enhance its capacity and support economic development in the region.
