Nel ASA Secures $7 Million Order for PEM Electrolyser Equipment
Nel Hydrogen US has received a $7 million purchase order from Mesure Process for containerized PEM electrolysers, marking a significant repeat engagement. This order will support hydrogen refueling stations and industrial applications in Europe, with operations slated to begin in 2027.

Nel ASA's subsidiary, Nel Hydrogen US, has secured a $7 million order for PEM electrolyser equipment from Mesure Process, a subsidiary of Synqo Energies. This equipment will be utilized in a European project aimed at supplying hydrogen for refueling stations and industrial applications, expected to be operational by 2027.
The contract follows a previous order and underscores Mesure Process’s role as the EPC supplier. The system will be drawn from Nel's MC PEM portfolio, available in configurations of 1.25MW or 2.5MW, although specific unit capacity remains unspecified. Despite a reported 31% revenue decline in 2025, Nel anticipates that its forthcoming pressurised alkaline electrolyser technology will enhance its competitive edge in the market.
