NeoVolta Forms Joint Venture with PotisEdge and LONGi for Battery Energy Storage Manufacturing in Georgia
NeoVolta Inc. has established NeoVolta Power, LLC, a joint venture for manufacturing battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Pendergrass, Georgia. The facility will initially have a production capacity of 2 GWh, scalable to 8 GWh, and aims to begin mass production by mid-2026.
NeoVolta holds a 60% interest in the venture and will manage product strategy and commercialization. PotisEdge and LONGi Green Energy contribute 20% each, with PotisEdge bringing manufacturing expertise.
The joint venture targets utility-scale and commercial markets, with initial production focused on prismatic-cell battery packs and DC container integration. The project is supported by capital commitments, including a $13 million private placement from Infinite Grid Capital, and aims to expand production capacity in response to growing demand.
