NeoVolta Launches NVWave Residential Energy Storage System with Grid-Forming Capabilities
NeoVolta has introduced the NVWave residential energy storage system (ESS), designed for flexible, scalable home energy management. This platform features a 2.4 kW - 9.6 kW inverter and LiFePO4 batteries with a capacity range of 3.45 kWh - 55.2 kWh. It integrates various distributed energy resources (DERs) and can form its own grid during outages, ensuring stable power delivery. NVWave allows for incremental expansion and offers ease of installation, making it suitable for both new construction and retrofitting projects.

NeoVolta's NVWave residential energy storage system (ESS) operates as a grid-forming platform, featuring a 2.4 kW - 9.6 kW inverter and lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries with 3.45 kWh - 55.2 kWh capacity. It integrates distributed energy resources (DERs) and can island during outages to maintain stable power.
The system's architecture supports scalable expansion without redesign, allowing installers to adapt to homeowner needs over time. NVWave's modular design enables customizable configurations, and it preserves installation efficiency for both retrofit and new projects. Field-replaceable modules facilitate easy service, reducing downtime and labor costs.
