Neptune Reports £4.3M Profit Despite 1.9% Sales Decline in FY25
Furnishings brand Neptune reported a pre-tax profit of £4.3 million for the year ending September 30, 2025, a significant increase from £345,000 in FY24. Total sales decreased by 1.9% to £59.2 million, driven by a decline in UK sales from £53.1 million to £51.9 million. The company focused on enhancing profitability through reduced low-margin promotions and secured new partnerships, including one with John Lewis. Neptune also advanced its sustainability initiatives, launching a lifetime guarantee and the Neptune ReNewed platform for product refurbishment.

Neptune reported a pre-tax profit of £4.3 million for FY25, up from £345,000 in FY24, despite a 1.9% fall in total sales to £59.2 million. UK sales declined to £51.9 million, while international sales remained steady at £7.2 million.
The company improved gross margin to £44.7 million, or 61% of revenue. Efforts to enhance profitability included reducing low-margin promotions and launching a partnership with John Lewis. Neptune introduced a lifetime guarantee and the Neptune ReNewed platform to support sustainability initiatives, reflecting confidence in product quality and commitment to a circular economy.
