Nestlé Certifies All Bottling Sites Under Water Stewardship Standards
Nestlé Waters & Premium Beverages has achieved certification for all 39 bottling sites under the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) standard, with two sites attaining Platinum status. This initiative addresses water scarcity and climate challenges while Nestlé supports 70 global water regeneration projects, yielding 14.1 million cubic meters of water benefits annually.

Nestlé Waters has certified its 39 bottling facilities under the AWS standard, with Buxton (UK) and Tunuyán (Argentina) earning Platinum status. This certification spans Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and Asia, necessitating annual assessments for ongoing compliance.
The company is also involved in 70 water regeneration projects, generating 14.1 million cubic meters of water benefits. Investments include $27 million in France for ecosystem restoration and $33 million in Italy for watershed protection, with an additional $44 million planned through 2030 under the F.O.N.T.E programme. Nestlé's partnership with the IUCN aims to enhance water management strategies in light of increasing scrutiny on water use in industrial sectors.
