Nestlé Philippines received recognition at the 2026 EPR Recognition Program for its role in the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Act, which supports a circular economy. The company has recovered plastics equivalent to 100% of its packaging volume and has collaborated on EPR strategies with industry stakeholders.

The NPAP FRWG, formed with the DENR, aims to enhance recycling systems and compliance. Nestlé is committed to sustainability through reduced carbon emissions and expanding waste recovery programs. The program was organized by the DENR with the Philippine Alliance for Recycling Materials Sustainability.
