Netcompany will provide AI solutions for Danish municipalities and public authorities on the Gefion supercomputer to address a goal set by the Minister for Digital Affairs, Caroline Stage, to save 30,000 full-time equivalents in the public sector. The initiative aims to reduce legal barriers associated with data processing outside Denmark, thereby increasing interest in AI assistants.

Netcompany’s new platform, Easley AI, will facilitate the development of digital assistants while ensuring compliance with Danish laws by keeping data processing within the country. The company plans to eventually offer all its solutions on Gefion, although the choice of cloud solution will remain with individual customers. Concerns about Gefion's longevity are mitigated by confidence in its future-proof technology.
