Netuse AG utilizes the Teuken 7B AI model to evaluate the cybersecurity maturity of companies, marking a significant advancement for Europe's digital sovereignty. This application represents a shift in European AI research towards commercial, security-critical usage, directly addressing the dominance of US tech giants.

By leveraging Teuken 7B, Netuse aims to provide a more accurate assessment of security statuses and propose tailored solutions more efficiently, ensuring sensitive corporate data remains within the client's infrastructure. The model, developed under the publicly funded OpenGPT-X project led by Fraunhofer Institutes, offers an open-source alternative that allows companies full control over their AI applications and data.

The training was conducted on the JUWELS supercomputer at Forschungszentrum Jülich, with collaboration from various partners. This implementation serves as a blueprint for future applications in regulated sectors such as finance and healthcare, reinforcing Germany's investment in a values-based AI infrastructure.
