New Avacon Data Center Near Hannover: 40 Million Euro Investment

The Avacon data center, initiated in July 2024, represents a 40 million Euro investment aimed at creating a highly functional facility incorporating security, reliability, and sustainability. The site will eventually span 2,000 square meters, accommodating up to 28,000 customer servers.

Key technological features include advanced climate control, fire protection, and continuous monitoring, appealing to businesses with stringent data security needs, such as utilities and hospitals. The infrastructure utilizes a flexible cabling concept from Rosenberger OSI, designed for easy expansion and adaptability to diverse client requirements. The project is completed and marketing of the initial 1,000 square meters has begun with plans for future expansion.
