New Data Center Development in Melzo to Enhance Digital Infrastructure
The Melzo project aims to transform a former industrial site into a data center covering 58,000 square meters. It will feature eight data halls with a combined capacity of 48 MW and includes environmental mitigation measures.

A new data center is set to be established in Melzo, covering 58,000 square meters. It will consist of eight data halls, each with a capacity of 6 MW, totaling 48 MW. The project, in the environmental impact assessment stage, incorporates measures for sustainability and environmental protection, including containment systems and green compensations in surrounding areas.
Stack Emea Italia, known for other data center developments, is leading this initiative. This development will address the increasing demand for digital infrastructure while promoting local energy integration. However, ensuring environmental sustainability remains a critical challenge.
