New Funding Requests and Projects Discussed at Community Council Meeting in France
The community council addressed two funding requests for housing programs in Saint-Laurent-les-Églises and Ambazac, and discussed plans for a camping area at Pont à l'Age. A convention for outdoor space usage at Pont à l'Age was proposed to ensure financial and legal security. Additionally, a trip to the Le PAL amusement park for children aged 7 to 14 is planned for April. Orano Mining has requested environmental authorization for a battery recycling pilot project at Bessines-sur-Gartempe.

The community council reviewed two new housing grant applications for Saint-Laurent-les-Églises and Ambazac, submitted with assistance from SOLIHA. A financial aid request for a camping area at Pont à l'Age was discussed, featuring 26 sites managed by Camping Car Park under a ten-year contract, ensuring year-round operations.
A convention for the use of outdoor spaces at Pont à l'Age was proposed to mitigate risks of damage and establish security measures. An organized trip for a group of 24 children to the Le PAL amusement park is scheduled for April. Orano Mining has applied for environmental authorization for a lithium-ion battery recycling pilot project at Bessines-sur-Gartempe.
