Next Hydrogen Finalizes Design for 10 MW Hydrogen Fueling Station in British Columbia
Next Hydrogen Solutions has completed the Basic Design Engineering Package for a 10 MW hydrogen fueling station in British Columbia, aimed at supporting the province's decarbonization efforts in the transportation sector. The project is expected to enhance hydrogen infrastructure, leveraging local renewable energy resources.

Next Hydrogen Solutions Inc. has finalized a Basic Design Engineering Package (BDEP) for a 10 MW hydrogen fueling station in British Columbia, with construction projected for late 2027 or early 2028. The project aligns with CleanBC's Roadmap to 2030, targeting significant emissions reductions in the transportation sector, which is currently the largest contributor to emissions in the province.
A Financial Investment Decision (FID) for the project is expected by the end of 2026. The design incorporates containerized electrolysers, capitalizing on local hydroelectricity and clean technology. This initiative may accelerate the adoption of hydrogen in medium- and heavy-duty vehicles, potentially transforming the transportation landscape in British Columbia.
