NextNRG Secures 28-Year PPA with Topanga Terrace for Microgrid Energy Solutions in California

NextNRG, Inc. has signed a 28-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Topanga Terrace Rehabilitation & Subacute Care Center in Canoga Park, California. This agreement follows NextNRG's recent Sunnyside PPA and enhances its pipeline of contracted revenue.

The PPA includes 2% annual rate escalators and is expected to generate approximately $3.85 million in gross revenue. NextNRG will design, build, own, and operate a microgrid featuring rooftop solar, battery storage, and gas-powered backup generation to ensure reliable power for the facility's operations.

This project aligns with increasing regulatory requirements for healthcare facilities to maintain backup power. NextNRG’s model eliminates upfront capital costs for facilities, offering stable long-term energy pricing while maintaining full asset ownership. The microgrid is expected to produce around 470,000-480,000 kWh annually in the initial operating years.
