nEye.ai Raises $80 Million for Optical Circuit Switching Technology
nEye.ai has secured $80 million in Series C funding, bringing total investment to $152 million. The financing aims to enhance the manufacturing of its Optical Circuit Switches to support rapidly evolving AI data center infrastructure.

nEye.ai has completed an $80 million Series C funding round led by Sutter Hill Ventures, with participation from CapitalG, M12, and Socratic Partners. This funding will facilitate the high-volume production of the company's Optical Circuit Switches (OCS), designed to optimize data center architectures for AI workloads.
The market for Optical Circuit Switching is expected to exceed $3 billion within three years. nEye's integration of Silicon Photonics and MEMS into a compact chip addresses power constraints in modern data centers, making it critical for scaling AI applications. Leadership changes include Stefan Dyckerhoff joining the board, enhancing strategic direction as the company transitions to commercialization.
