NFrance Upgrades Data Center Cooling, Achieves Significant Energy and Water Savings
NFrance has modernized its data center cooling systems with Vertiv's solutions, resulting in a 20% reduction in energy consumption and complete elimination of water use for cooling. This upgrade supports operational efficiency amid growing service demands without service disruptions.

NFrance has completed a project to overhaul its data center cooling infrastructure, achieving a 20% reduction in energy consumption and zero water usage for cooling. The upgrade utilized Vertiv's Liebert PDX direct-expansion cooling system, which features inverter-driven scroll compressors and is managed by the Liebert iCOM controller for optimal performance across varying heat loads.
The design incorporates dual refrigeration circuits for N+1 redundancy, enabling the system to maintain 50% cooling capacity if one circuit fails, with automatic recovery in under 40 seconds. The project included 24/7 technical support through a Preferred Warranty contract. This modernization is critical for NFrance as it meets increasing service-level demands while ensuring continuous availability and improved operational sustainability.
