NHPC Synchronises 250 MW Unit of Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project
NHPC has successfully synchronized Unit-3 (250 MW) of the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project with the National Grid as of January 21, 2026. This achievement contributes to India's renewable energy objectives and positions the project to become the country's largest hydroelectric facility, enhancing grid reliability and NHPC's role in hydropower development.
