The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) is soliciting counter-proposals for a Swiss challenge regarding the 120-MW Aya Pumped-Storage Project at Pantabangan Dam in Nueva Ecija, originally proposed by First Gen Hydro Power Corp. First Gen Hydro can match any counter-proposals.

Interested parties can purchase tender documents from Jan. 13 to 19 for P75,000 and must indicate intent to challenge by Jan. 27. A pre-challenge conference is set for Jan. 31, with counter-proposals due on Feb. 3.
