Nicola Mining Initiates Exploration Drilling at New Craigmont Copper Project
Nicola Mining Inc. has started its 2026 exploration diamond drilling program at the New Craigmont copper project near Merritt, BC. This initiative aims to investigate the Jotun target, identified through previous geophysical surveys, for its potential as a source of high-grade copper mineralization.

Nicola Mining Inc. has launched its 2026 diamond drilling program at the New Craigmont copper project, with a budget of CAD 1.5 million. The drilling will explore the Jotun target, which is associated with a resistivity anomaly identified in prior ZTEM surveys.
The program will include soil sampling in underexplored areas and a Mobile MT survey to refine deep geophysical targets. The company anticipates completion of drilling by early June, followed by an additional program at its Treasure Mountain silver project. This exploration could yield critical geological data that may enhance the understanding of porphyry copper systems in the region, impacting future exploration strategies.
